About Us

When Billy Sample retired, he closed up the saddlers shop and it remained empty for several years.  When the opportunity arose to purchase it, we jumped at the chance to breathe life back into such an iconic little building.

We opened in April 2016 and have been overwhelmed by the support of our fantastic customers.  We travel far and wide to hand select our stock which is sometimes very classic and sometimes extremely quirky! The Old Saddlers Shop is also very passionate about supporting other small local businesses and we sell a lovely selection of handcrafted items all made within a small radius from us.

    Thank you for visiting our website!  We are working hard to upload as many of our lovely products as we can, so please bear with us.

    When the opportunity arose to purchase our shop, we jumped at the chance.  It is such an iconic little building and as it had stood empty for a number of years it was crying out for some love.  We have worked hard to restore the building in a sympathetic nature but keeping its character and history alive.  From the gorgeous original brick floor to the rustic stable door its certainly one of a kind!
